Man convicted of killing minister gets life sentence.
Prosecutors said Joshua E. Simmons, 26, of Elizabethtown, broke into
the home of the Rev. James Hornback, 78, last December to steal
prescription drugs. Hornback's throat was slashed and he was struck on
the head 23 times with a hammer.
